Bill has had acne rosacea for 40 years. His symptoms consist of acne pimples, mild facial redness and moderate rosacea papules. Bill’s past treatments have included Oreaca, Doxycycline, Accutane, Benzoyl Peroxide, tretinoin, metrodiazanole, and laser therapy.
Bill describes his acne rosacea in these terms, I have had acne my whole life..I am 61…not many pustules, papules, etc…perhaps 6 0r 7 lesions at worst…but deep and stubborn…recently, I am getting white heads…I did 3 course of Accutane…including a low dose regime…excellent results…no acne! Dry lips only.
Doxycycline 100 mg keeps me clear..Oracea is not doing much except lightening my wallet. My acne is all on the central part of my face…no forehead, cheeks, ever. My nose is OK…blackheads and an occasional deep cyst…all my lesions seem to recur in the same place….I spot treat.
